Answering Difficult Interview Questions

Interviews are nerve-wrecking to begin with. Get asked a difficult interview question and you'll be even more stressed and nervous. But knowing that you know the answers is a great method to improve your confidence and get the job you want.

Interview Questions That Recruiters Expect You to be Prepared For

You can almost be guaranteed that certain interview questions will come up. Personally as a recruiter an unprepared job candidate is a major red flag to me. There's no excuse going into an interview where you can expect certain interview questions to be asked and not being ready for them.

That’s why it’s important to practice your answers to the difficult interview questions recruiters expect you to be prepared for.

But Job Candidates Don't Prepare

This is probably the most common interview question that recruiters will ask you. Neglecting to prepare for the “Tell me about yourself interview question,” is also the most common and potentially disastrous mistakes that interviewees make!

Typically, job candidates respond to the “Tell me about yourself question,” with, “What do you want to know?” What this tell the recruiter is that you have not prepared properly for the interview and are likely to be equally unprepared on the job.
